Bill Reed

 Lifelong resident of Springtown, with the exception of a few years when first started teaching and coaching.  Coached and taught at several schools, but most of my 35 years were at Boyd HS and Springtown High School, where I retired from Education (the first time) in 2001.  Served as Athletic Director and Head football coach for 13 years and the defensive co-coordinator for 5 years prior in the early 80s.  Currently employed by Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship, but plan to retire in the fall of 2021!  Realizing I need to spend more time with my family, my church, and my best Friend!

I married my wife Sandra in 1979, our children are now all grown and married and include:  Danetta Reed Keevill of Houston and husband Chris Keevill, Bryce Reed of Springtown and wife, Autumn Reed, Chase Reed and wife, Kaelyne of Denton. My grandchildren, Cayden, Taylor, Liam, Braden, and Bailey are the love of my life and I can’t imagine life any other way. 

I first met Jesus at 12 years old but never really started getting to know Him until my mid 30’s thanks to Pastor John Conway, who was like a brother to me.  I still love sports but as to where I would rather be is right here at Springtown Community Fellowship where I serve and learn more and more about our God and our Jesus Christ.
